Your Care Promise is an independent healthcare navigation company for international patients considering treatment in India. You pay us directly. No hospital, clinic or surgeon pays us anything, in any form, which is what makes it possible for us to tell you when travelling is the wrong choice.
We arrange independent written opinions from senior specialists, set out the full cost of the whole journey rather than the operation alone, coordinate the treatment if you decide to go ahead, and stay with you for ninety days after you fly home. We do not treat anyone, run a hospital or employ surgeons. Care is delivered by licensed clinicians at accredited hospitals.

The money we turn down
We negotiate your hospital price.
And we take nothing from them for it.
Hospitals pay medical travel companies a commission for sending them patients. It is normal in this industry, it is often substantial, and it is the reason so much “free” advice exists.
Here is the part worth sitting with. We are the ones in the room negotiating your price. The commission is on the table, offered to us, and refusing it costs us real money on every single case.
We refuse it because the moment we accept a rupee from the hospital, we are working for them and not for you. You would have no way of knowing, and that is exactly why it matters.

Who explains it to you
A doctor whose only job is to make sure you understand.
Independent specialists review your case and write their opinion. That is the part you are paying for, and it is kept at arm’s length from us on purpose.
Then Dr Gunjan Patel, our co-founder and medical director, sits with you and explains what they found. In plain language. Where they agree, where they do not, and what your realistic options are.
She does not decide anything about your treatment and she does not write the opinion herself. Her job is to make sure the right question was asked, and that you leave the conversation understanding the answer.
Why this is unusual
Think about who else could explain your scan to you. The surgeon who wants to operate. The agency paid when you book. A search engine at two in the morning.
A doctor who is paid by you, who does not write the recommendation, and who gains nothing whether you travel or stay, is a rare thing to have on your side of the table.
The part that costs us money
Sometimes the honest answer is: do not get on the plane.
Because no hospital pays us, we do not earn more when you travel. So the recommendation can genuinely be any of these: travel, do not travel, wait, have it done closer to home, or get another opinion first.
A company paid by the hospital cannot credibly give you the second answer. That is not a criticism of the people who work there. It is arithmetic.

The ninety days
Treatment should not end at the airport.
This is the part almost nobody in this market sells, and it is the reason we exist.
Most of what goes wrong in medical travel does not happen in the operating theatre. It happens six weeks later, in another country, when something does not feel right and nobody who knows your case is reachable.
So we build the handover before you fly, keep the operating surgeon in the conversation, map your medicines onto what your own pharmacy stocks, and give you a named person to contact. Your doctor at home stays in charge of your care. Our job is to make sure they have what they need to do it.
How to judge us
Check the structure. It is harder to fake than a testimonial.
Anyone can publish a wall of five star reviews. Almost nobody in this market will answer these four questions plainly, so ask them of us and of everyone else you speak to.
Who pays you?
You do, and only you. No hospital, surgeon or clinic pays us anything, in any form. Ask any hospital we work with whether they pay us. The answer is no.
How are the specialists paid?
A flat professional fee, identical whether they recommend surgery or advise against it. And the specialist who reviews your case is never the one who operates on it, so nobody writing an opinion for you stands to gain from the answer being surgery.
What happens if the answer is that I should not travel?
You get that in writing, and we earn nothing further. It is the second of our four promises and it is budgeted for rather than avoided.
Who is the doctor, and can I check them?
Dr Gunjan Patel, MBBS, registered with the Gujarat Medical Council since 2019 under registration G-65059. Named, registered, and on the public record.
We publish no patient stories, because a patient story needs that patient’s consent and we would rather show none than show one nobody agreed to. Everything above you can verify today, without taking our word for any of it.
